Just dropping this off... :D
Oh my Om'ers, I've been so busy lately! I haven't been able to meditate or anything! So this leads me to the question:What do you folks do to meditate when you can't meditate for a big chunk of time?Guidance is sought! Thanks in advance.<3 you all!

<3 you all!
If I'm driving a lot, I may pull over and say several om's. It's quick, easy, and can really help alleviate driving fatigue. While om'ing, I may visualize myself being protected by a white light, envision continued safety on the roadway, and project that I be filled with fun and entertaining thoughts to keep my brain occupied while driving along. It works very well!
if i'm in a big hurry, i just go to instantom.com and push the blue button a whole bunch REALLY quickly. it makes for a wonderful sound and helps 'trick my brain' into remembering those times i've had longer meditations. and clicking the mouse button so much so quickly relieves stress, too! ;)
>>11It's kinda odd, but I actually can get into a sort of meditative trance while in the shower. Something about the warmth and the sound of the water helps me zone-out and really get absorbed in my thoughts. I don't even move. I've had some good mental breakthroughs in the shower!
cool photo of nebula
Thanks for posting this pic! I saw news article headlines saying that a 'hand nebula' was discovered, but I had not seen a photo of it. Thanks! Here's a pic I found, it shows the scale of the universe and is pretty neat! It's amazing how technology, spirituality, and art go together. That nebula is so neat-looking! I wonder what (or who) else is out there...

Here's the horsehead nebula. An oldie, but still neat to look at! I wonder, are the colors of the nebulas 'real' or have the photos been artificially colored to emphasis the presence of certain gases or densities or whatever?
>>12I found this interesting:"The hand was created when a star exploded in a supernova, creating a rapidly spinning 20km-wide star called a pulsar, which is deep inside the white blob at the hand's wrist. The pulsar is spewing out enormous amounts of electromagnetic energy, creating a dust and gas cloud so wide it would take 150 years to cross at the speed of light. The red disc is a separate gas cloud. The fingers are thought to have been created as energy passed from the pulsar to the gas cloud.NASA scientists estimated the moment depicted here actually happened 17,000 years ago.It has taken since then for the X-rays to reach Earth."
